Aim

The most important aim of the Moerdijk Port Authority is the development, construction, issuance, exploitation and management of the Moerdijk industrial complex and (sea)port in such a way that the organisation can function independently financially and provides an engine for the economy in West Brabant.

With the filling in of the industrial complex and port there should be a careful and frugal utilisation of the space, to which the forming of industrial clusters provides an important contribution.

Moreover, the Port Authority wants to double transshipment in the seaport from 10 to 20 million tons by 2010.

Furthermore, the Moerdijk Port Authority fulfils a key role in business-to-business contacts for established and prospective companies.
