Themed sub-parks

The industrial and harbour area is divided into a number of themed sub-parks:

• Seaport: here there are companies with water-bound business activities, such as the warehousing and transfer of goods. For them, as well as for companies involved with the processing and distribution of general cargo, bulk cargo and containers, there is a modern central transshipment terminal connected by an internal road to the companies behind. Seagoing and inland navigation vessels leave for various destinations from the Seaport area.

• EcoPark: here there are companies that are active in environmental and energy technology. At the same time, there are companies that recycle waste materials. What is waste for one company can be a product that can be applied in a production process for another.

• IndustrialPark: the chemical and industrial companies are located here. They provide services to each other in the areas of production, knowledge, distribution, supply and maintenance.

• TradePark: here the commercial enterprises and logistics companies that provide added value services are brought together. A number of internationally famous companies have selected Moerdijk as a European distribution centre.

• Distriboulevard: here are established companies that work in transport, distribution and commerce. From this location many trucks depart daily via the A17, A16 and A59 highways to destinations in Europe. This location is intended for road-bound European distribution and production companies, which require a representative location and optimal accessibility.

• ServicePoint: service providers are established at this location, for example, customs, military police, the Moerdijk Port Authority, the security services and an ambulance post.
