Security
From the Moerdijk Port Authority Communications Centre (HMCC) at the behest of the Moerdijk Industrial Complex Security Association (SBIM), integrated surveillance of the industrial complex and port is performed by Moerdijk Security. All transport movements by road and water are permanently followed thereby. This enables incidents to be noticed in good time and if necessary, the security services can be brought into action and emergency services can be deployed.
For good and efficient communications with companies in the event of incidents, in collaboration with the emergency services, fire department, police, community health services, the municipality of Moerdijk and Moerdijk Port Authority, the Moerdijk Industrial Complex Contingency Plan has been compiled. The HMCC also has an alarm mailer at its disposal with which messages can be sent to all companies simultaneously.
Moerdijk Security also conducts surveillance in the evenings and at night and company premises and sites are checked for unlocked windows, doors and fences, etc. In the near future, the industrial complex and port will be partially closed during the night. Accessibility for the companies will be assured via a controlled entrance gate.
