In the event that companies want to establish themselves at the port and industrial complex, the Moerdijk Port Authority is the best organisation to show you the ropes in this process.
Via the Commercial/ PR/Communications department (CPC) we can assist you by providing information about properties for sale or lease or a building plot for long lease.
Establishment on the site is subject to certain rules. Establishment must fit in with the Moerdijk Industrial Complex zoning plan. To see how your potential establishment fits in with us, the Commission for Establishment has been formed.
If you are one of the established companies, then the rules are described in the General Conditions of Sale and moreover, the Moerdijk Port and Site By-law (Dutch version) is also applicable.
Companies that are established on the Moerdijk Industrial Complex, as of 1995, are 'obliged' to take part in collective security. This security is organised by the Moerdijk Industrial Complex Security Association (SBIM), in which the Moerdijk Industrial Complex Business Group (BIM), the Municipality of Moerdijk, the Moerdijk Police Team and the Moerdijk Port Authority are participants.
Newly established companies can become members of the Moerdijk Industrial Complex Business Group (BIM).This is the commercial association that looks after the interests of the companies established on the Moerdijk port and industrial complex.
